Jose has a knack for finding permit even when it seems impossible, and he's patient and easygoing no matter who's in the boat. Not to mention Gladys...her cooking and hospitality make the whole experience even better. Xcalak is a special place, and Jose and Gladys make every trip out there a great one. Highly recommend if you're serious about fly fishing this area.
